Media Shutup?

Sarah Palin spoke today with Rush Limbaugh. According to Palin the media wants her to shut-up.

Here is an interesting excerpt:

Rush Limbaugh: "The media is covering up for him. That is why there's so much admirationfor you. The New York Times said you were a great speaker....your forcefulness and your opinions are driving away moderates. This is just an attempt to get you to stop."

Sarah Palin: "Well, yes, I guess that message is they do want me to sit down and shut up, but that's not gonna happen. I care too much about this great country. ... Speaking of some of those associations...lets talk quickly about ACORN and the unconscionable situation that we are facing right now with voter fraud, given the ties between Obama and ACORN and the money his campaign has sent them...Obama has a responsibility to reign in ACORN and prove that he is willing to fight voter fraud....for shame if the mainstream media were to cover this one up."

I am honestly getting fend up with Palin always blaming the media. I think the media has been very fair to her. I personally feel that it could be worse. Plus what would the media gain by covering anything up for Obama?

Palin has taken it too far. I would have to go with my friends (the media) on this one by telling her to shutup and sit down. She blames the media for outrageous things and they haven't done anything wrong. Their jobs are more important than her feelings.

I agree with you about the media could have found worst stuff on her then they already found. Every time I click my television on I see McCain or Palin smiling in my face so I do agree with you that she get a lot of coverage on the news.

Well, lets face it, the media can be harsh. They are always going to try and expose a scandal about politicians. I think the media can also be biased and I have noticed a great amount of bias towards Barack Obama. Then again, it all depends on which source you choose to read or watch. Palin is getting alot of media coverage because she is popular. She needs to expect some backlash from people who are Obama supporters in the media.

Yeah, there is media bias. It all depends on what you watch. Though Palin can say the media is harsh on her, there is always Fox News that speaks just as harshly about Obama. The media isn't covering up anything; if you really listen closely you will notice that the media does cover all topics. It all depends on what you are watching. Honestly, I have heard a lot of things on Fox News about ACORN linked with Obama and I have heard on MSNBC about McCain's Link with ACORN.

So who is covering up what exactly?

She needs to get over it, part of being VP is that you are always going to be in the public eye and you are always going to be criticized.

I dont know what to think of all of this. I mean I honestly like Sarah Palin just because she is the first woman to be nominated VP, but at times I do think she may be a little too much. I dont think that the media is necessarily wanting her to shut up, I just think shes trying to blame the media for things in her personal life being brought up.

Defiantly Rush and Palin are playing the blame game. they are upset because they will lose this election. to me all they want is to keep the money where it is as John McCain said. "Joe I'll keep you rich." I don't understand why he thinks it fair for people to not have to work for their money after they have a lot.

Rush Limbaw is a fool in my opinion. He caters to a base of people that is diminishing every year in this country.

As for Palin it is obvious she is not a good presidential candidate for numerous reasons, one being the fact her husband is successionist. I am glad this election is coming to a end and we can really start changing this country to what our for fathers intended.

I agree. I don't like the fact that Palin always blames the media and says that they are just against her somehow. I think she loves it. She loves the fact that they're all over her and she can use it to her advantage. Maybe they should both shut up? It would be interesting to see how that worked out.

Great posting on an interesting subject! Your post was well written as well! Nice job!
